Josy attended the Times Talk featuring Charlize Theron & Jason Reitman. Let me just say.....Charlize is as gorgeous in real life and she is in the movies. They started off showing some clips of Charlize's film career and Jason's hit movie "Up in the Air". Charlize spoke about her role in Monster and how she was approached to be in it. She was persued to play this part after the director saw her in "The Devils Advocate". She was very funny & humble. She cursed alot which was hilarious. Jason spoke about his father and his other movies.
Jason talked about his directing process, how he only does 2-5 takes a scene. They discussed the new movie "Young Adult". It's about a woman who is a young adult author who goes back to her hometown to get back with her highschool ex. She was the most popular girl in school and she still has that mentality going back. They showed us a clip and it looks pretty good. i'm definitely going to check it out. They did a Q&A after. Some People asked about Charlize's Africa Charity work, an Old man asked her for a picture & hand shake. LOL! that was strange. All in All It was pretty interesting. I always love hearing about actors set experiences and how films are made. Pictures weren't allowed.. so sorry bout that. i tried to sneak a few but it didnt work.
